Each member of The Trend Curve team has a product they like the best. Mine is Haute Halloween & Fall™, because Halloween just happens to be my favorite holiday, hands down. Liz Borsch loves our new kids’ color-and-trend forecast (The Trend Curve Colors™ KIDS 2017) because she adores the world of juvenile products. Michelle Lamb is dedicated to The Trend Curve newsletter, which is where her trend-forecasting career was built, but she also can’t get enough of ‘Tis The Season™. Michelle even presents seminars and workshops about Christmas/Winter trends (just send her an email if you want to know more: michellelamb@trendcurve.com).
A simple tally of the numbers reveals which products YOU liked best in 2015. Of course, The Trend Curve newsletter comes out on top, year after year. Then, our other trend tools vie for attention. Feedback from customers, like you, tells us why our top three 2015 products did so well.
Our most-popular product for 2015 was ‘Tis The Season 2016-17, our color-and-trend forecast for Christmas future. This isn’t surprising, given that the Holiday season is the most profitable one for home décor. With 30 colors and Trend Cards with details for 11 trends—ranging from kids’ themes, like Under The Big Top to the elegant and opulent Noël Luxe for adult soirées—this Christmas forecast is sweeping enough to meet almost every category need. Customers look to us every year for help developing their Holiday assortments. They find the trend palettes in 'Tis The Season “complete and easy to use” and believe we clearly understand that it’s not only important to include upcoming colors in our forecasts, but also to show the freshest ways to combine them.
The next 2015 bestseller was The Trend Curve Colors™ 2016. This year-round forecast can be applied to décor, stationery and even back-to-school products. It contains the widest array of forecast colors—38 hues, ranging from pastels to the darkest deeps. This is also the product we get the most customer feedback about. You told us you love how we prioritize our colors by specifying the volume, accent colors and fashion-forward hues. You also rely on the details we provide about directional patterns, materials and textures for each trend, adding that this information translates easily to a myriad of industries and products. By the way, our 2016 forecast is now on clearance, since the 2017 version of this product was released later in the year. We already know it will be one of 2016's top products!
Lastly, but not surprisingly, our trend report from ChristmasWorld 2015 was a runaway hit. Customers felt it offered an excellent view of Holiday trends for a year or more in advance. This report is issued early in each calendar year, giving you a head start on future Christmas assortments. Purchasers of this product want the key trend stories, fast. That’s why the downloadable format, number of images (about 150) and concise text have made Trend Album™ Christmasworld one of the top three picks for 2015.
